Bharkavi, Jianan, Emily R and I went to Vikumgama this week. Jianan and Emily started to draw and paint the outside walls of the preschool and Barack and I taught preschool. There was no after school as it rained a lot during the week. The whole team decided what was going to be draw and Em and Jianan made a start on it. Some of the villagers and afterschool kids were very keen on helping, and their painting skills were very impressive. We nearly finished the outside by the end of the week!

The theme for Vikumgama is the sea and jungle which consists of a giraffe, a monkey, and an elephant. We are going to have team handprints on the wall with our names like the other community learning centres.
Our main focus this week was teaching the kids the numbers one to five and some were keen to learn and others were keen to play.

It is sad that this project is coming to end and have to say goodbye to our village Vikumgama in less than 4 weeks.
