Today we went to the eco-village: Holiday Resort in Kamburupitiya.  We left hotel a little bit later than usual, because we need to wait for the cinnamon team. We stuck on the road for about 2 hours, the driver cannot find the way, and we need to drop down the cinnamon team first. Although it was really hot inside the van and it took a long time to go to the eco-village. But most of us had fun, chat a lot, including MBA, including life, everything. It was a little bit weird but good chance to know each other much better.
We arrived the eco-village quite late at about 12 o’clock. To be honest, the interview did not go very well due to the poorness of the staff’s English, one person invested this all eco-village, but unfortunately we did not meet him today. So we could only ask some simple questions to the staffs, and the answers were not quite accurate, because I think they do not understand us very much.

So at first we planed to do a 1.5 hours interview, but due to the realistic, we only did a half hour interview, and then we thought about leaving. But the friendly staff just asked us to a boat, and took us to do an eco-trip. We went to a boat, and then go to several islands to visit different kinds of plants and fruits. Although this is not directly relate to the idea of eco-village, but these people showed us a friendly life style, and the trip was very interesting. Although it was not easy to communicate with each other, sometimes smile is good enough to connect everything.

After about 1.5 hours eco-trip, we went back, had lunch at the eco-village. The lunch was nice, no wonder that the eco-village is famous by the restaurant not by the accommodation. We wanted to give some recommendations about the accommodation, but we really did not have enough information, so finally we just said goodbye to them nicely.

After the all day adventure, we discussed some problems we have, and we confirmed our plan for tomorrow.

Generally, this was a great day, and things was becoming more organized, and we learnt a lot from somewhere we expected and  somewhere we did not, but still good. Learn from life always full with surprise.
