With some people starting to get restless with the lack of sports now on, a shopping trip was organized by the girls to go to Balangoda with one of the English teachers here at the university.Along with the help of Sharyam the chef, AJ, Laura S, Emma, Louisa, Franky and Sam hopped on the public bus to the town where they met a local buisiness man who helped them find the store ‘Cheap’. The girls went with the intention of buying saris, all with success apart from Louisa who enjoyed her trip to the supermarket and came back with non other than …COKE!! The girls got beautiful saris in all different colours which looked beautiful in the photos I saw… Once again I was stuck inside in the boring shade with my textbooks and notes, whilst the sun shone away in the Sri Lankan sky. Andy, who hadn’t been feeling too fell, spent the day relaxing and sleeping.
