The true start of our exploratory work began today as we met key members of Mr Runage’s cinnamon business. Mr Runage is the owner and Managing Director of Rathna Producers Cinnamon Exporters (Pvt) Ltd.The company employs approximately one hundred local people, from Head Office operations through to Cinnamon farmers, peelers and packagers

The full day tour was extremely informative as we were able to better appreciate the end-to-end process from cinnamon production through to the final packaging of the export products.

This was an excellent productive day from which we are now able to further focus on determining the key objectives.

The evening was equally informative as we discussed many of the country’s key issues with our host, Jageth.
